great interview. that was funny about the “young fella”. i was mostly impressed with Mr. Smith as i watch him on ESPN and he inspires me to want to be a journalist. i feel like i’m watching myself on t.v. when i see him. wierd i know, but very inspiring to know i can do that too, and its not too late. anyway just wanted to add that.

Nice interview Mizzo. MS seems to be far more aware than any of the other apologists for white supremacy-I’m talking to you Ms. Hill- in the MSM. I disagree with much of what is said by you and your colleagues. I find the mainstream sports media intolerable, biased, and downright offensive. However that didn’t excuse me taking it to where I took it. I apologize for my rant on you, it was immature. It’s one thing to critique your work and network, but I think i crossed the line into just ugly. So sorry man.

Here he talks about Marcus Vick and says “lengthy rap sheet”? Lengthy rap sheet he was a college kid with a suspended drivers license, might have smoked weed or been with somebody who was, given alcohol to minors, the boy was 19 it’s not uncommon. I’d say that’s a pretty normal college student.

Here’s an article where he lavishes praise on Dungy and Lovie Smith, and says quit talking about color in coaches. Sure on the surface this sounds great, but what about the 3/110 black coaches in NCAA football? A sport that’s 65% percent african american, head coaching isn’t the only thing ownership, general managers, assistant coaches. We need to talk about this, keep talking, keep talking, keep talking!

I wish I could find more, but Smith’s assassination is mostly done on a T.V. show. Ask him how he feels about T.O., Barry Bonds, Randy Moss, and finally Roger Goodell. He won’t dare answer those questions.

Look I know you guys work to get these guys on and we hammer them, that is how I really feel, but if you want me to lighten up, I can respect your house.

Nice interview Mizzo, I understand where Smith is coming from about not wanting to be the voice of 38 million people becuae it is frustrating. But me personally to quote DMX “I’m not nice” and have told whites who challenge me on Hip-Hop or Vick “Do you know what your white brats are doing or listening to?” And who in the hell made you the moral aribtor of black american behavior.
